A morning in Midtown

Do you see the building reflected in the building?

My daughter and I had a lovely day in Midtown Atlanta this morning.  We started out at the High Museum and saw 2 new exhibits.  We really enjoyed John Marin's watercolors.  Marin painted in the early 1900's, and his freehand technique and mixture of artistic methods influenced abstract artists who followed him in later years.

We saw this lovely lady in the museum -

She looks so elegant in her black and white dress worn with heels with pretty bows.

When we left the museum, we found a vibrant Midtown Atlanta  including food trucks (which I will be sampling next time) and live entertainment -

We also saw some great style.  I was impressed with this girl's ability to maintain so many layers in the Atlanta heat -

I like the little details in her outfit like the flowers on her jacket and her gold belt buckle -

I also like this lady's classic dress brightened up with the mustard sweater -

These next young ladies look so bright and summery in their floral dresses -

My daughter wore her cute pink shoes -

...and had fun giving flowers drinks in fountains -

...and eating a cupcake at Highland Bakery -

I had a delicious chocolate chip and pecan cookie.

We had a lot of fun.  I can't wait to go back to Midtown!
