Can you hear that?

It's the sound of me eating my words.  I made a joke the other day at the end of my shoe search post about not wanting to buy some Clarks.  Well, look where I ended up on Saturday -

When I started this search for a cute and comfortable shoe, I wanted to end up like this girl with the Sperry Top-Siders and gym socks -

It's hip.  It's trendy.  It's unique.

I searched and searched for something like this that fits my life but finally ended up with these -

They are classic.  They are practical.  They are Clarks.  Not as trendy as I wanted, but I did succeed in finding comfort outside of a sneaker.  You feel like you are wearing running shoes, and then you look down and see that you are wearing boots!  That kind of comfort cost me a pretty penny, but I think it will be worth it.  No more shopping for me until next year.

i bought some clogs from Clarks for a trip to China in 2000, they were the best travel shoe! So comfortable and dried quickly from the rain. I think it took me 7 years to really wear them out (appearance not fit). LOve your boots - now go travel again :-)

Clarks are great and I testify, also, to their long life and comfort.
Love your style.
