Famous People

I already showed you my all time favorite famous people that I saw at New York Fashion Week (Project Runway contestants).  However, I did see a few more.  Now, I have to preface this with the fact that these people will only be famous to those of us who read fashion blogs and watch fashion related reality TV.  So, the rest of you can just enjoy their outfits.

First, Brad Goreski (former Rachel Zoe assistant) -

He is carrying the same neon yellow bag as a guy in my previous post.  I thought this next picture showed him with a very "Brad" facial expression -

Speaking of celebrity stylists, here is Phillip Bloch looking very "Bonnie and Clyde" -

Here's Perez Hilton, celebrity blogger -

And speaking of bloggers, here is one of my favorites - Kelly Framel (otherwise known as the Glamourai) -

She was meeting some friends at the Standard Hotel.  Among those was Jane from Sea of Shoes -

I saw Kelly again later.  She looked straight at me after I took her picture and smiled.  I should have gone over to talk to her but felt too intimidated.  She seems very nice.  I don't know why I chickend out.

I was so excited to meet Leandra Medine (aka The Man Repeller).  Her blog is hilarious and is based on the premise that high fashion repels men (which explains why my dad keeps telling me how silly all of these people look).

I love the back of her jacket -

I also saw Andy from Style Scrapbook -

Moving on to magazines, I spotted Zana Roberts Rassi several times.  (She is the Senior Fashion Editor at Marie Claire.)

Here are her shoes.  (Leopard is big for Fall.)

I saw her waiting in line for a show in the Meat Packing District.  She looks like a model, and her voice is just dreamy to listen to -

So, here are the people I'm not sure about.  I think this might be the designer Thakoon.  Can anyone confirm or deny?

Loved his Fall 2011 collection.  Don't understand his Spring 2012 collection.  Maybe it's because I'm not a "first adopter".  I will probably understand it by Spring.  (Update - I've now determined that this is Jay Nicolas Sario from Project Runway Season 7.  I knew I recognized him from somewhere.)

I didn't recognize this lady when I took her photograph but later saw her posted on my all time favorite blog Garance Dore.  I feel honored to have selected the same subject as Garance.  Her name is Francesca Burns, and it appears that she is the Senior Fashion Editor at large for Love magazine in the UK.

I didn't get a great shot of this guy, but I'm pretty sure he's famous.  And it's driving me crazy.  Can anyone tell me who he is?

I think this may be Daphne Guinness, heiress of the family that produces Guinness beer (big fan!) and owner of the leopard shoes in my previous post -

So if I can get a ticket to an actual show, I may be able to post pictures of people my dad will recognize.  I'm working on that for February.  But stick around, because I still have more from the street...
