A cubist pop

Every time I visit midtown, I stop by CB2 to look at my favorite pieces - an acrylic console and a cubist sculpture.  I have been trying to justify their purchase for a year.  Last week I finally decided that my living room needs a little pop of something...and the cubist sculpture can be that pop.

   

I just love looking at it.  Now I need to finish convincing my husband that this console will make a fabulous desk-

...especially if you get rid of the kids' stuff and place it in front of this painting -

My husband would probably be happy if we just took the stars off the ceiling.  It takes a long time for me to get around to doing certain things.  That's a whole other discussion for another day.
