It's time for the Farmers Market!

One of our favorite activities in the summer is to go to the Farmers Market - any Farmers Market.  We saw a new one open up in Sandy Springs, so we had to try it.  We always buy way too much stuff, but we console ourselves with the fact that we are buying fresh food and supporting small businesses.

My girls immediately spotted this spread, so we bought a treat (chocolate filled pastry)-

Then, we bought some honey and listened to the honey man tell us how he collects the honey without any protection and only gets stung once or twice a day.  (I'm not sure if that's good or bad.)

We proceeded to buy something at almost every stand - raw milk feta cheese, habenero salsa, 2 packages of seasoning, radishes, onions, black-eyed peas, and whole wheat beer bread.  I think they had our number.

I did spot some cute outfits along the way.  I like the diamond pattern on this summer dress -

These two look cool in their stylish hats -

My daughter really wanted to buy some jewelry from Madeline Burdine, who is super nice and cute and talented as a jewelry designer -

Here are my favorite pieces -

You can check out more of her jewelry at www.etsy.com/shop/littlewingdesigns

We ended our pleasant little outing with a nice game of checkers -
