I don't know that I thought about sunlight that much before I started using a camera. Now, I notice the way light hits everything. It's amazing the way it changes throughout the day. God could have made sunlight look like fluorescent lighting. How terrible would that be? Instead, He made it beautiful and life-giving. He could also have made it come out only occasionally, but the sun rises every morning. Today, I am thankful for sunlight, and I hope that it reminds me that God is there - every morning.

I love your little sunlight block painting! :)
Meredith, these are gorgeous. Now I must do something wonderful with lighting instead of seeking shade and defocused effects.
