Feeling very "Kelly Wearstler"

I have been sick for the last few days, so I have had a lot of time to think about a lot of things.  One of those things is my kitchen.  I am meeting with a potential designer of my kitchen soon, so I have been trying to organize my thoughts regarding what I want.  I would like to give her a photo of a kitchen and say, "I like this style."  But I can't find it.  So, I am compiling photos of various items that just have the feeling that I like.

I love Kelly Wearstler's sense of style in both fashion and home design.  It is beautiful, bold and quirky but also approachable.  Here I have put together a collage representing a possible design style for my kitchen... using fashion (including a few pieces from Ms. Wearstler's own line) -

Trends for Fall

To summarize my trip, here the trends that I saw in New York -

Mixing different prints and patterns together - Stripes and polka dots are probably the easiest way to do it...

...or buy a dress with mixed prints -

Bright colors -

Long flowing skirts and dresses -

Big statement necklaces -

70's retro -

...as well as 40's, 50's and 80's retro.  Almost any decade will do.  Vintage is "in".

So, which trend are you going to wear this Fall?
