Animal invasion

The OVERWHELMING trend I saw in New York was animal print.  There were coats, vests, skirts, shoes, bags, scarves, and hats in animal print.  There was so much animal print that after a while I just stopped taking pictures of it.  This is dedicated to all of you out there who love the leopard.

Fashion Photos for the Regular Guy (or Girl)

Here are some fashion photos that I think have interest beyond the fashion.  So, if you don't get as excited about Fashion Week as I do, these are for you -

She was drinking the water like she was in a commercial.  I think she was just posing for bloggers.  Got it.  Thanks.

They walked through the concourse like they are famous, but I don't think they are.  I do like her top, though.

He wanted to have his picture taken.

I like the irony of the girl in blue leather pants and leopard platforms with bleached hair standing in front of the Organic Grocery.

Never in Atlanta would I find a guy posing fashionably in the middle of a cobblestone street...probably because we don't have cobblestone streets.

A blogger asking someone if they can take their picture

More fashiony fashion later tonight...

New York Fashion Week - flashy street style

As I said in my previous post, I love the "show" aspect of fashion week.  In real life, sometimes less is more.  But during Fashion Week, more is more.

This girl is all sparkles -

For those of you who thought the guy who mixed plaid and checks was too much, check out this lady.  She is not afraid of print -

This girl is wearing a gold "suit" -

...and is carrying a see-through purse -

And here's some more gold -

In an exaggerated way, they are telling us that gold is big for Fall.  And so is neon -

This girl likes feathers (and I actually like her head piece) -

Here's another head piece -

And we'll end with some extreme shoes -

So, was that a good show?  Don't worry.  I have more...
